Собаки на гостиничном сене
При этом в СМИ постоянно фигурируют факты о катастрофической незаполненности гостиниц, об убытках, которые терпят владельцы ресторанно-гостиничных комплексов, о банкротстве некоторых владельцев гостиниц из-за уменьшения числа туристов, и о бедственном положении гостиничного бизнеса на Кипре вообще. Так в чём же дело? Как согласуется одно с другим?
Несколько лет назад Ассоциация владельцев гостиниц Кипра издала новое положение о ценах на гостиничные номера для жителей Кипра - как киприотов, так и иностранцев, постоянно живущих на Кипре.
Это положение предусматривает специальные, более низкие, нежели для иностранных туристов, расценки для местных жителей с целью улучшения положения дел в гостиничном бизнесе, а также под эгидой акции, проводимой Кипрской организацией по туризму.
Эта акция, называемая «Туризм внутри страны», предпринята Кипрской организацией по туризму для того, чтобы призвать местных жителей отдыхать на Кипре.
Существует специальный каталог, где указаны отели, предлагающие местным жителям скидки на проживание. По заявлениям людей, обратившихся в Ассоциацию потребителей, как в отелях из каталога, так и в других отелях им отвечали отказом.
В чём же дело? Может быть, и вправду в этом году заполненность отелей достигла желаемой отметки и составляет 100% ?
Обратимся к статистике.
В Лимассоле «работают» только дорогие отели – 5* на проблемы с постояльцами не жалуются.
Все остальные продают через турфирмы просто супер-выгодные для иностранцев турпакеты – неделя проживания в 3-4* с питанием, перелётом и страховкой – от 300-400 евро.
В Ларнаке заполненность отелей составляет едва 40%, но и в ларнакском отеле забронировать номер местному жителю нелегко. Как видно, владельцы гостиниц заняли позицию «собаки на сене» - ни себе, ни людям.
Раз нет туристов из-за границы, пусть лучше номера стоят пустыми, а бизнес продолжает терпеть убытки.
Странная, конечно, логика, но, может быть, таким образом владельцы отелей пытаются вынудить местное население платить за номера по предлагаемым ими ценам?
В таком случае удовольствие пожить в ларнакском, лимассольском или пафосском отеле 3* по системе «bed & breakfast» обойдётся вам в сумму от 60-70 евро на двоих.
3 дня пребывания в таком отеле, плюс расходы на питание в ресторанах, плюс бензин – подсчитайте сами, во что вам обойдётся такой отдых.
К слову сказать, за 500-600 евро (опять-таки на двоих) можно побывать в трёхдневном круизе в Сирии, Ливане или Египте (туда россиянам виза не требуется) или на греческих островах (но туда нужна виза – экспромта не выйдет).
В активе - отдельная каюта, приличный сервис, трёхразовое питание, развлекательная программа на корабле, да и сменить обстановку на пару-тройку дней очень полезно. Поэтому подавляющее большинство предпочитает на 2-3 дня съездить в одну из соседних стран, а не «поддерживать местного производителя» из псевдо-патриотизма.
О каком «Туризме внутри страны» может идти речь, если представители местного туристического бизнеса не желают привыкать к новым методам работы и не понимают, что местные жители, в отличие от иностранцев – это их потенциальные клиенты и сейчас, и на следующий год, и через 5-10 лет?
Ассоциация потребителей обратилась за разъяснениями к Президенту Ассоциации владельцев гстиниц Кипра Захариасу Иоаннидису. Вот как он объясняет сложившуюся ситуацию:
«Очень жаль, что участились случаи, когда жители Кипра сталкиваются с трудностями в попытке забронировать номер в гостинице перед праздниками, но в этом есть и их вина – не нужно оставлять это на последний момент, вполне вероятно, что вы просто не найдёте свободных номеров в гостиницах. Позаботились бы о своём мини-отпуске заранее – никаких проблем бы не было!»
Ассоциация потребителей Кипра потребовала рассмотрения этой ситуации и выяснения причин массовых отказов, на что г-н Иоаннидис ответил: «Мы делаем всё возможное. А отказ в бронировании можно объяснить реальным отсутствием свободных номеров в отелях. В этом году мы издали наш каталог со списком отелей, предлагающих скидки местным жителям, не прошло и месяца, как все каталоги разобрали.
Сейчас мы печатаем его снова, бόльшим, нежели раньше, тиражом».
Как видите, ваш отдых – в ваших руках. Бронируйте номера заранее, а в случае каких-либо расхождений по поводу цен, условий пребывания и прочих проблем смело обращайтесь в потребителей – вас там внимательно выслушают и обязательно помогут.
